Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

A quick and flavorful slow cooker recipe that makes for a perfect weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic; pour over chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, remove chicken and set aside; mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
  5. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and coat in the sauce.
  6. Serve with sliced green onions on top.
