  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil.
  2. Add chicken breasts and coat them well with the sauce.
  3. Layer the vegetables on top of the chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove chicken, shred, and return it to the slow cooker.
  6. Mix cornstarch with a little water, stir into the sauce, and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
