Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cups fresh basil pesto
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the Italian sausage to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the pesto and cherry tomatoes, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
