Churro Cupcakes are the perfect combination of fluffy cupcake and churro flavors, drizzled with rich caramel.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before drizzling with caramel sauce.

Notes

  • For extra churro flavor, consider adding cinnamon sugar to the top after baking.
