Ultra Thick Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

Deliciously thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies that are perfect for cookie lovers.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of sea salt on top of the cookies before baking.
  • These cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
