Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil together until smooth.
  4. Add the pumpkin puree and eggs to the oil mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Allow the cakes to cool before frosting.
