Super Easy Chicken and Dumplings

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken broth and chicken. Bring to a boil and cook until chicken is done, then shred.
  2. Add mixed vegetables, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix biscuit mix and milk until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the simmering chicken and broth.
  4. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
