Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, pureed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in the strawberry puree and vanilla extract into the egg mixture.
  4. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  6. Once set, slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice to the strawberry puree.
  • Serve with fresh strawberries on top for garnish.
