  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet and mix well.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine when cooking the shrimp.
  • Adjust the red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
