- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the cooked spaghetti, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well.
- Cut the top off the Italian bread and scoop out some of the inside to make a bowl.
- Fill the bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture and place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the bread is crispy and the filling is heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley and cheese if desired.
