Spaghetti Garlic Bread Bowls

A delicious way to enjoy spaghetti in a bread bowl, combining comfort food with a fun twist.

  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well.
  5. Cut the top off the Italian bread and scoop out some of the inside to make a bowl.
  6. Fill the bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the bread is crispy and the filling is heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley and cheese if desired.

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the parmesan or use a vegan alternative.
