- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- In a slow cooker, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Add chicken thighs, and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove chicken and set aside.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the slow cooker sauce.
- Cook on high for an additional 15 minutes to thicken sauce.
- Serve chicken with sauce over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add green onions as a garnish.
