Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs, and stir to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, remove chicken and set aside.
  5. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the slow cooker sauce.
  6. Cook on high for an additional 15 minutes to thicken sauce.
  7. Serve chicken with sauce over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add green onions as a garnish.
