- 1 pound flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Place the sliced flank steak in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Pour over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add broccoli florets to the slow cooker.
- In another bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry and add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
