  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, bring the beef broth to a simmer in a saucepan.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water together to make a slurry.
  7. Stir the slurry into the simmering broth and cook until thickened.
  8. Once the meatballs are cooked, serve them with the thickened gravy.

Notes

  • For a bit of heat, add crushed red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
  • This recipe can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
