  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, diced onion, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the meatballs and add sliced mushrooms.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
  6. Serve warm over mashed potatoes or rice.
