  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter, pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Roll the dough out into a rectangle, spread a mixture of butter and sugar on top, and sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice.
  6. Roll tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place rolls in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
