Pistachio Tiramisu Cake with Whipped Mascarpone Cream

Pistachio Tiramisu Cake is a delightful twist on the classic dessert, featuring layers of rich flavors and a silky whipped mascarpone cream.

  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled
  • 6 large egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup coffee, brewed and cooled
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Blend the pistachios into a fine powder.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add mascarpone cheese to the egg mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. In a shallow dish, combine brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
  6. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the coffee mixture and layer them in a serving dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat the layers with the rest of the ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with crushed pistachios.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add more coffee liqueur.
  • Make sure to use fresh mascarpone for the best texture.
