Million Dollar Spaghetti

A creamy, cheesy, and indulgent spaghetti dish that has become a family favorite.

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (26 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the ground beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Layer half of the spaghetti in a baking dish, followed by the cottage cheese mixture, then half of the meat sauce.
  7. Repeat the layers and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some fresh herbs like basil or parsley on top before serving.
  • This dish can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
