- 12 manicotti shells
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, mixing until well combined.
- Stuff the manicotti shells with the cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add spinach or mushrooms to the cheese filling.
- Let the manicotti cool for a few minutes before serving.
