Low Carb Firecracker Ground Chicken

A delicious low carb recipe featuring ground chicken and turkey bacon for a spicy kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy, then remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add ground chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, sriracha, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Mix in the chopped turkey bacon and green onions, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra heat, increase the amount of sriracha or red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with cauliflower rice for a complete meal.
