- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions; drain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, then half of the cottage cheese mixture, followed by a layer of marinara sauce, and a layer of mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers, ending with noodles and topped with remaining marinara and mozzarella.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add basil or spinach to the layers.
- This lasagna can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
