  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add ground turkey, onion, and garlic. Cook until turkey is browned.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add the lasagna noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender.
  5. Stir in ricotta cheese and mix well. Serve topped with mozzarella and crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Top with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
