- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 cups water
- Boil 4 cups of water and add the dried hibiscus flowers. Let it steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain the hibiscus tea into a pitcher and discard the flowers.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of water, lemon juice, sugar, and sliced strawberries to the pitcher.
- Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional strawberries if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, adjust the sugar to taste.
- This drink can also be made with sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
