A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional Twix bars, these guilt-free treats satisfy your sweet tooth without the added sugar!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the pitted dates until smooth.
  2. Add almond flour, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract; blend until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Spread almond butter over the chilled layer.
  5. Melt dark chocolate chips and pour over the almond butter layer.
  6. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top.
  7. Chill until set, then cut into bars.

Notes

  • For a sweeter version, you can add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.
  • These bars can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
