  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes, then make thin slices across each potato, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Brush the potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped turkey bacon between the slices of each potato.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and crispy.
  6. In the last 5 minutes of baking, add shredded cheese on top of the potatoes and return to the oven until melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding herbs like rosemary or thyme.
  • Make sure not to cut too deep into the potatoes to keep them intact.
