- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup pimentos, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices bread
- 4 tablespoons butter
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, pimentos, mayonnaise, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the mixture between two slices of bread to form a sandwich.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and gooey.
- Remove from heat and slice in half to serve.
Notes
- Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables for dipping.
- Add cooked bacon for an extra indulgent twist.
