- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and stir in flour; cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until thickened.
