  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the molasses, egg, and vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
