German pancakes are deliciously fluffy and perfect for breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a blender, combine the flour, milk, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Melt the butter in a cast-iron skillet or baking dish in the oven.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot skillet and bake for 20 minutes or until puffy and golden.
  5. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve with syrup or toppings of your choice.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter.
  • Top with fresh fruits or a dusting of powdered sugar.
