- 2 cups orzo pasta
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyère)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic powder and onion powder, stirring until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and French onion soup. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the orzo pasta and cook for about 10 minutes until al dente.
- Fold in shredded chicken and half of the cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
