Easy Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Take a portion of the mixture and flatten it in your hand.
  5. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it, forming a ball.
  6. In a skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Add the turkey bacon to the meatball mixture and blend gently.
  8. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs or spices to the meat mixture.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
