Easy Lasagna Recipe

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer three noodles, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers and finish with marinara sauce and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped vegetables to the beef.
  • This recipe can be made ahead and frozen.
