  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
  6. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
