Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa

A comforting and hearty dish that combines the delicious flavors of pierogi and kielbasa, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen pierogi
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add half of the sliced kielbasa on top of the pierogi.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the kielbasa.
  4. Spread half of the sour cream over the cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Add the diced onion, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly on top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Stir gently before serving to mix layers.

Notes

  • For additional flavor, consider adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
  • This dish can be made the day before and reheated before serving.
