Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa

A comforting and easy recipe for Crockpot Pierogi Casserole featuring delicious kielbasa.

  • 1 package frozen pierogi
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup. Mix until smooth.
  2. Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Add half of the kielbasa slices and a third of the onion on top.
  4. Spread half of the soup mixture over the layers and sprinkle a third of the cheese.
  5. Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the pierogi are cooked through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add more sour cream.
  • Substitute kielbasa with your choice of sausage.
