Crockpot Cowboy Soup

Delicious and hearty Crockpot Cowboy Soup made with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a family meal or gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. Add onions and garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  3. In a crockpot, combine all ingredients including the chopped turkey bacon.
  4. Stir well, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add diced jalapeños.
  • Feel free to substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon if desired.
