  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, combine the shredded chicken, frozen peas and carrots, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, prepare the pie crust according to package instructions.
  4. Transfer the chicken mixture to a baking dish and cover with the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake in the oven at 425°F for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
