Crock Pot Pepper Steak is an easy slow cooker meal perfect for busy nights. Just dump the ingredients in and let the slow cooker do the work!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt. Pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. If you’d like to thicken the sauce, mix cornstarch with a little cold water and stir it in during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • You can adjust the spice level by adding chili flakes or hot sauce.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or carrots.
