Creamy Corn Chowder

A warm and comforting creamy corn chowder featuring the savory taste of turkey bacon, perfect for any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 2 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same pot, add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add corn and chicken broth, bring to a boil and then simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream, salt, and pepper, and heat through.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with turkey bacon and parsley.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit turkey bacon and use vegetable broth.
  • This chowder can be thickened by blending a portion of it.
