- 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add olive oil and sauté onions, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Stir in the flour and cook for a minute.
- Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Add shredded chicken, peas, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and let it heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon.
