  • 1 pound cavatappi pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the cavatappi according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
  4. Add the cooked pasta, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to combine.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
