Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta: Comfort Meets Spice

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add the diced chicken breast and Cajun seasoning, cooking until the chicken is no longer pink.
  4. Stir in the bell pepper and garlic, cooking until the pepper is tender.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave or on the stovetop.
