Creamy Bacon Carbonara Pasta

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set on paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the hot spaghetti to the skillet with bacon fat, then quickly stir in the egg mixture, making sure not to scramble the eggs.
  5. Crumble the bacon and add it to the pasta, mixing well.
