Crawfish Fettuccine

A rich and flavorful crawfish fettuccine that brings a delicious twist to a classic comfort dish.

  • 1 pound crawfish tails
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add crawfish tails and Cajun seasoning, cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Toss in the cooked fettuccine and mix until well coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Feel free to substitute shrimp for crawfish if preferred.
