- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onions and celery until softened.
- Add diced apples and dried cranberries, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the vegetable broth over the bread mixture and stir to combine.
- Add the sautéed mixture to the bowl and toss until evenly mixed.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
