Crab Cake Egg Rolls

A delightful combination of classic crab cakes and egg rolls, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper flat and place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center.
  3. Fold the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly, sealing the edges with a little water.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped green onions or bell peppers to the filling.
  • Make sure to seal the egg rolls properly to prevent the filling from leaking out during frying.
