  • 1/4 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until frothy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture gently.
  5. Pipe small circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Let the macarons rest for 30 minutes before baking.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, then let cool before filling.
  8. Prepare the filling by mixing vanilla extract with crushed cookies and your choice of cream.
  9. Sandwich the filling between two macaron shells.
