- 100 grams granulated sugar
- 250 ml milk
- 75 grams unsalted butter, softened
- 10 grams active dry yeast
- 150 grams mixed dried fruits
- 100 grams almonds, chopped
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 100 grams powdered sugar (for dusting)
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, setting aside for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and spices.
- Gradually add the milk mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 8-10 minutes.
