- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Coat chicken breasts in olive oil and then in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- In a separate saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add marinara sauce over each piece and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Toast hoagie rolls and then assemble the sandwiches with chicken, extra marinara, and more cheese if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
