Chicken Madeira

A delicious recipe combining chicken, turkey bacon, and chicken ham for a delightful meal.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham
  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Madeira wine
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Add the chicken ham and sautéed mushrooms to the pan, then pour in Madeira wine.
  5. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cover the skillet and transfer it to the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve hot, garnished with crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in advance.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
