  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 ounces burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked ziti with the tomato sauce and mix well.
  6. Transfer half of the ziti mixture to a baking dish. Tear half of the burrata cheese and spread it over the pasta.
  7. Add the remaining ziti, top with the remaining burrata, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
